NEET-PG from November 23

The National Board of Examination has invited applications for the first National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test for Medical Postgraduate (NEET-PG) Programmes in government and other medical colleges in the country.

Applications may be submitted till November 12. The computer-based test, to be held from November 23 to December 6 at 33 centres, is mandatory for admission to MD, MS and postgraduate diploma courses at medical colleges under the Postgraduate Medical Education Regulations of the Medical Council of India. Those with an MBBS degree and those likely to complete the internship on or before March 31 and having Medical Council registration may register online for the test on www.nbe.gov.in/neetpg. Aviation training

The Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Uran Akademi of the Union Government has invited applications for an entrance test to be held in Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Lucknow and Mumbai on December 9 for admission to the Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) course. The 18-month course will cover ground and flying training for issue of the CPL with multi-engine endorsement and instrument rating on multi-engine aircraft.Application forms and details can be downloaded from www.igrua.gov.in. The filled applications should be sent, along with a demand draft for the non-refundable application fee of Rs. 6,000, in favour of the Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Uran Akademi drawn on any nationalised or scheduled bank payable at Rae Bareli, to the Director, Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Uran Akademi, Fursatganj Airfield, CSJM Nagar, Uttar Pradesh-229 302 so as to reach there on or before October 22.
