Number of seats through NEET-PG

A total of 20,000 seats are available through NEET-PG in 350 Medical Colleges.

A total of 100,000 applications are expected, few applicants whom careermitra.com spoke to has expressed concerns over the dates NEET-PG has been scheduled. They said during November & December several other medical entrance exams are taking place, for instance the AIIMS PG entrance exam. They said NEET-PG was a surprise, the MCI website hosted information stating the test will be in January 2013 and the announcement stunned us.

When we questioned them about the proceedings of NEET-PG registration, some said the Axis Bank Branches are not prepared enough to handle the rush, we have to wait in long queues just to buy the application fee voucher. The dates of the exam schedule is very less, some have said that most of the dates are already occupied, no clarity has been given if it was a technical issue.

National Board of Examinations (NBE) has entrusted Prometric for conducting NEET-PG, NEET-PG is a computer based test to be held during 23rd November – 6th December 2012.

The last date for application fee voucher sale closure is 10 November 2012, for registration the last date is 12 November 2012.
